An artist gets more than she bargained for when she sells custom sketches of festival attendees at Cinco de Mayo on St. Paul’s West Side. A young man seeks refuge in her booth and asks for her help before he flees, trying to escape a well-known street gang. Armed with her wits and a soft lead pencil, she faces down the gang before they add murder to the festival events.
